Rule 26
Use of funds
Use of funds: (1) In addition to the activities mentioned in section 33 of the Act, the funds will be used for the following activities:-
(a) To support the educational development of the families of workers who have gone to foreign employment and returned from foreign employment,
(B) To assist in the health treatment of the families of workers who have gone to foreign employment,
(c) To establish and operate a child care center for the proper protection of the children of foreign workers,
(d) To operate a safe house to rescue and keep the workers who have gone to foreign employment stranded due to loss of employment,
(e) To conduct a reintegration and rehabilitation program for workers who have returned to their home country in employment abroad after being unable to complete the contract period due to accident or illness or due to any other reasons,
(f) To inquire about the fees paid by women selected for employment while taking orientation training, to provide legal assistance in the respective countries on behalf of workers who have gone to foreign employment who have been subjected to any legal proceedings or have been charged with any charges,
(h) If a foreign worker whose contract period has expired dies and the body is left behind, to bring such body to Nepal,
(i) To bring back to the country the workers who have been legally punished, have an accident or are ill and are unable to return to their country due to lack of financial means or who are deemed to have to return to their country for some reason and who have been employed abroad for less than two years from the end of the contract period,
(j) To provide financial assistance to the family of such a deceased in case of death of a foreign employed worker during treatment in the country or abroad within the contract period,
(k) Rule 43A. To pay the amount of wages and benefits required for the employee appointed under the contract,
(l) To conduct the day-to-day work of the Board,
(d) To carry out labor contract preparation work (d) To study the status of workers who have gone to foreign employment,
(n) To conduct training programs related to foreign employment,
(p) To do foreign employment, policy and legal reforms (1) Foreign employmentRelated studies, research,
(2) Searching and researching the international labor market,
(3) Publication of materials related to foreign employment (4) Operation of public awareness programs related to foreign employment (5) Establishment and operation of foreign employment information center.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in clause (l) of sub-rule (1), the operating expenses of the board shall not exceed twenty five percent of the interest amount earned by the board annually.
(3) According to clause (d) of sub-rule (1), when using the amount of the fund for activities related to foreign employment promotion, it should be kept within the limits of the annual program approved by the board.
